Mr. Jarkow graduated from Cornell Law School and practiced law in New York City at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. From 2000 until 2018, Mr. Jarkow served as the CFO of Debra Zane Casting overseeing all business and legal aspects of the company. When the immigration crisis began in early 2017, Mr. Jarkow volunteered with Esperanza’s Immigration Court Help Desk at the Los Angeles Immigration Court and Legal Orientation Program at Adelanto Detention Center. In May 2018, Jeff began working with Weisz Immigration Law Group. He is a seasoned attorney and business professional who is thoroughly versed in the complexities of today’s immigration arena and is supported by an impressive team of immigration professionals. Mr. Jarkow is admitted to the New York State Bar and limits his practice to immigration law exclusively.
Pro bono activities: Mr. Jarkow worked as a facilitator with the Police sensitivity training program with the Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance from September 2008 through January 2017. During this period, Mr. Jarkow founded the Law & Ethics Education Institute in order to develop continuing legal education programs (MCLE’s) focusing on the unique and crucial role attorneys play in safeguarding society. Additionally, Mr. Jarkow is one of the coordinators of the Food Pantry at the Karsh Center in Korea Town where he has volunteered since 2003.
